What We Do
The House of Refuge Church, Inc. is a faith-based organization that provides care and support for at-risk elderly in our Richmond community. We provide quality long-term care that’s affordable. A smaller residential setting allows for more attention to the individual needs of those we serve. Our goal is to bring down the cost of long-term care while raising the standard of what is acceptable. We are able to bring down the cost of care through donations and volunteers as well as a lower overhead costs due to not being a traditional church facility with all its bells and whistles but still providing very much needed services from prayer groups, food pantry, bible studies, activities, outings, etc.

Pastor Ed Coley is a man of faith, hope and love with the heart of God. He has been actively involved in ministry to the elderly in his community for years and is passionate about helping all of God's children.
Vyetta Coley
First Lady/Owner
The First Lady of House of Refuge Church, Inc. is known for her love and care for the most vulnerable elderly in our church community. She loves to bless them by caring for them and showing them love--a grace given so they can be healed and edified as members of Christ's body!
She also cares deeply about making sure that everyone knows how much she appreciates their help in supporting our ministry here at House of Refuge Church, Inc.
